Theatre of the Living Statue, under the guidance of Artistic Director Anita Miotti, has been enriching and enlivening events, turning heads, and typically catching audiences entirely unaware in the greater Calgary area for over a decade.  TOTLS takes this beautiful art form and adds yet another enchanting aspect to the illusion—an additional veil to be lifted—as the artist breathes still more magical surrealism into the performance with the melting of the moment you thought was captured indefinitely.

The company has been seen (by more discerning eyes!) province-wide, entertaining tens of thousands at “the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”; adding an element of surprise at sporting events from the Tour of Alberta cycling challenge to the annual downhill World Cup in Lake Louise; invigorating large-scale trade shows throughout Alberta’s three largest city centres; adding whimsy to gala events; gracing private and corporate functions of every description. Jessica has been an active member of the performance company, made up exclusively of professionally trained dancers and stage actors, the key to its superior mystique, since 2008.
